Return, Exchange, & Refund Policy
We will keep it simple: if you're not happy, we're not happy. We strive to be the best source for your outdoor adventures that we possibly can be. We want you to feel confident purchasing from us with your hard-earned money. If your product isn't living up to your expectations, is defective, or is the wrong size, we can take it back if it meets the following conditions:
- Item is in a new or unused condition.
- Item contains original tags and/or packaging intact.
- Item was delivered to it's final destination within the last 15 calendar days.
Please note:
- Opened and/or unsealed videos, DVDs, CDs, and cartography are not returnable unless defective.
- Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer. See our Warranty Information link here.
- A flat fee of $12.99 from orders returned for refund will be applied to cover a portion of our shipping and labor costs. There is no fee for returns for store credit.
- No returns or exchanges are accepted for items totaling $10 or less.
- Any items returned without original tags and/or packaging intact will incur a 15% restocking fee in addition to the shipping fee.
- No returns or exchanges will be accepted for items that have clearly been used.
- No returns or exchanges will be accepted on Clearance Sale Items, food items, underwear (including base layers), or free gift items.
Once your return or exchange arrives back at our facility, we will process it in 1-2 business days (although it goes up to 2-4 days during the winter holiday season). Note that any refund given for a return is processed at the rate of your original payment method.

Present Day Nomad retains the right to make the final determination of what constitutes “new and unused" and "clearly used". Exchanges are subject to an item still being in stock.
